At Shelby Mechanical we completed a comprehensive plumbing installation for a new Dollar Tree located in Allen Park, MI. The scope of work included rough and finish plumbing according to the detailed plans provided. Our team ensured the successful integration of new plumbing systems with the existing infrastructure to provide efficient, long-lasting solutions for this commercial retail space.

New Plumbing Installation:

Installed new plumbing to tie into existing sanitary lines.

Installed and ran a new vent stack through the roof to ensure compliance and proper function.

Restroom Fixtures:

Two (2) toilets and two (2) lavatories with sink faucets equipped with mixing valves.

Installed two (2) Sioux Chief floor drains to provide efficient drainage and avoid water buildup in the restroom areas.

Drinking Fountain:

Installed a Murdock HiLo ADA compliant drinking fountain for enhanced accessibility, ensuring that all customers and employees have access to drinking water in a convenient design.

Water Heater:

Installed a Bradford White electric 10-gallon water heater, mounted suspended from the joists above the mop sink for space efficiency.

Included a recirculation line and pump to ensure fast hot water delivery throughout the facility, improving operational efficiency.

Supplied two (2) floor drains and a 20-gallon wall-mounted water heater pan, ensuring optimal water flow and preventing potential leaks or water damage.

Mop Sink:

Installed one (1) mop sink with faucet to meet the cleaning needs of the store, ensuring a practical and durable solution for maintaining a hygienic environment.

Gas Line Installation:

Ran a 1 1/4” to 2” diameter gas line to service three (3) Rooftop Units (RTUs) and one (1) Gas Fired Unit Heater (GFUH), with shutoff valves at each fixture.
